It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Gerald Wayne Julian, age 50, on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024. Known fondly as Gerry, he was the devoted husband to Jennifer (Dick) for 26 years, and a proud father to his two beloved children, Jacob, and Jessica. Gerry was a cherished son to Wayne and Sue, and a treasured brother to Kevin (Juliana). He was a loving son-in-law to Greg and Linda, a dear brother-in-law to Greg (Rachel), Sherri (Steve), and Michael (Hailey). Gerry’s family was his greatest priority, and his love for them was immeasurable. He will be deeply missed by his extended family, including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends.
Known for his selflessness, generosity, and constant smile, Gerry had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued. His warm, infectious personality and his willingness to help others left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand, or just being there when needed, Gerry made a difference in countless lives. His legacy of kindness, strength, and joy in the simple moments will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have crossed his path. Gerry’s love, laughter, and light will be missed beyond measure, but his spirit will remain with us always, reminding us to live with kindness, compassion, and an open heart.
A service to celebrate Gerry’s life will be held on Monday, November 18th, 2024, at 11:00 am at Grace Gospel Church, 5855 Valley Way, Niagara Falls. All who knew and loved Gerry are invited to join in honoring his life and legacy. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. The service will be livestreamed for those who cannot physically make it. Link to the livestream can be found below. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to McMaster Children's Hospital, a cause that was dear to Gerry’s heart.
