Peacefully at The Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday March 6, 2014, with his family by his side. Daniel L. Russell beloved husband of Grace (Wensley) Russell. Loved father of Dan Russell Jr. and Sherry Nicholls. Grandfather of Andrea, Scott and Robert. Cherished great grampa of Taylor, Logan, Cassandra, Skylee, Kyrah, Payge and Hayden. Dan is predeceased by his brothers Bill and Joe.
A Life long resident of Niagara Falls, Dan retired from the Niagara Parks Commission after more than 20 years service. He was a member of Southminster United Church, a member and Past Master of Adoniram Lodge # 573 A.F.&A.M. and a Past District Deputy Grand Master of The Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at Southminster United Church, 6801 Hagar Ave. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at 11 AM. Prior to the funeral service, Officers and members of Adoniram Lodge # 573 A.F. & A.M. will hold a Masonic Service. In Memoriam contributions to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
