Joseph, affectionately known as Joe, was born on March 15, 1963, in Passaic, New Jersey. He graduated from Newton High School in 1981 before serving proudly in the Air Force. During his service Joe received several honors, including the AF Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, the AF Longevity Service Award Ribbon, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, and the Good Conduct Medal.
In his community, Joe was a former member of the Elks Lodge in Hackettstown as well as the Red Cross. He had a deep passion for NASCAR and often attended races in person, with his last race being in 2019 alongside his beloved wife.
Joe leaves behind cherished memories to his dear wife Penny Rebisz; his son Jonathan Rebisz; his step-daughter Erin Bunty; his grandson Aiden Rebisz; his two step-granddaughters Laura Strickler and Colleen Pazumas; and many loving family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Joe is predeceased by his father Thaddeus Rebisz, and his son AJ Rebisz.
Funeral arrangements are being made privately under the direction of Smith-McCracken Funeral Home.
