Frank was born in Newark on July 16, 1948 to the late Francisco and Helen (Kohler) Simeone. Frank grew up in Belleville before settling in Fredon in 1987. Prior to his retirement in 2014, Frank was a Construction Project Manager who led the creation of multiple commercial buildings.
In his youth, he discovered a passion for crew in high school. This early love for teamwork and dedication laid the foundation for his later pursuits. Frank was extremely talented in automotive work and found joy in the intricacies of woodworking and art, creating beautiful pieces that reflected his meticulous attention to detail and creative spirit. A master in the kitchen, he delighted family and friends with delicious meals. Frank was an avid animal lover and found solace in the companionship of his boxer dogs throughout his life.
The beloved husband to Cheryl Simeone, Frank is also survived by his children, Alexandra Ferriere (Eric), Victoria Simeone, and Francesco Simeone; his grandchildren, Theodore and Addison Ferriere; his sister, Joyce Noll (Bob); his sister and brother in-laws Josephine Brown (Richie), Dominick Naso (Kate), Mary Naso, and Sam Naso; and his niece and nephews, Thomas Longo (Nancy), Daniel Longo (Melissa), Tracey Herr (Dan), Tracy Parrillo (Mike), Lindsey Rusin (Mike), Christopher Naso (Ali), Michael Naso, Ellie Naso, and Sammy Naso.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 24 Halsted St, Newton, NJ.
