Charlotte Ann Wood

Charlotte was born and raised in Jersey City and moved to Andover, NJ in her teens. She had a love for knitting and was a member of the Newton Vol. Ambulance Auxiliary. Charlotte was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Wood, Sr.; her parents, Carl and Frances (Lager) Ulrich; and her siblings, Dolores, Mary-Lou, Betty, Helen, Charles and Alice. She is survived by her children, Richard A. Wood, Jr. and wife, Cheryl, and Carl Wood and wife, Deborah; her grandchildren and their spouses, Richard A. III (Michelle), Heather (Rick), Emily (Eric), and Thomas (Catherine); her great-grandchildren, James, Richard A. IV, Logan, William and Connor; and her sister, Frances.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St, Newton, NJ. Graveside Services will take place at 10 am on Friday, October 11, 2024, at North Hardyston Cemetery, N. Church Rd, Hamburg, NJ.
