Born in Blackley, PA, Barbara was a resident of Lake Lenape, Andover Township for more than 50 years. She was a graduate of Dover High School and worked as an administrative assistant for Picatinny Arsenal prior to retirement. Barbara was a long term and devoted volunteer at the First Presbyterian Church of Andover and the Newton Medical Center Auxiliary, contributing hundreds of hours of service to her community throughout her lifetime. She was known for her kindness and deep compassion for those in need within her community.
Daughter of the late Charles and Genevieve Mincher, Barbara was also predeceased by her husband, Robert Theodore Moran; her brother, William Oscar Mincher; and her fiancé, Lawrence Earl. She is survived by her son, Robert Timothy Moran of Andover; her daughters, Karen Yost and husband, Paul, of Andover and Katherine DeCarolis and husband, Martin, of Rockaway; and her grandchildren, Shawn Kraemer, Emily Kraemer, Sara Diaz and Max Macciarola.
Visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St, Newton, NJ, with Funeral Services at 1 pm. Interment will follow in Northern NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Sparta, NJ.
