Arlene was born in Perth Amboy, NJ to the late Nickolas and Katherine (Larsen) Boelhower and was raised in Edison, NJ.
On June 4th, 1960, Arlene married the love of her life, Dr. John E. Rahoche at St. George's Greek Catholic Church in Linden, NJ, and together they shared 54 wonderful years of marriage. Their bond was built on mutual respect, love, and partnership throughout both their personal and professional lives. Together, they raised a family and spent many years traveling all over the United States, Canada and Europe. Arlene and Doc also enjoyed creating everlasting memories traveling in their motorhome and exploring the country.
Arlene worked alongside Doc at his surgical practice from 1969 to 2007 as a devoted RN and Office Manager. Her warmth, dedication and kindness touched the lives of many, and her presence along with Gerri Morgan, they were a steady comforting force in the practice.
Arlene is predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. John E. Rahoche; her son, John D. "Chip" Rahoche; and her sister, Elaine Hamilton. She is survived by her children, Thomas H. Rahoche (Erica), David M. Rahoche, James Rahoche, and Nicholas Rahoche (Sharon); her grandchildren, Christopher, Sarah, and John; as well has many loving nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held December 13, 2024, from 3pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 9pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 210 US-206, Sandyston, NJ 07826. A funeral mass will be held the following day on December 14, 2024, at 9:30am at the church.
