In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Lee Eckard; brothers, Jimmy Christenbury, Lewis Christenbury and Eddie Christenbury. She graduated from Browns Beauty College as a cosmetologist, and opened up her own beauty salon for many years until retiring to take care of her husband. She also worked at Saint Stephens High School later in life. She enjoyed keeping children and working out in her yard.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan Lee Eckard; grandson, Peyton Lee Eckard. And a number of friends and family.
Celebration of life service will be held at St. Timothy Lutheran Church at 5pm, Sunday, June 30, 2024 with Pastor Mary Miller-Zurell officiating. A graveside will follow in the church cemetery.
