Suzanne Hermann

Suzy was born in Glendale, California in 1942 to Fred and Jean Ensch. She lived in La Canada California until her marriage to Roy Hermann in 1964, She graduated from Pasadena City College with an Associates Degree in nursing. Upon graduation she became an LVN working for a variety of different doctors in and around the Glendale area. In 1968 she and Roy moved to Canyon Country with their 2 month old son Eric. Daughter Christine was born in December 1969. In 1974 she and Roy became affiliated with Church of the Canyons in Canyon Country. She became a Sunday School teacher at COC where she taught for 49 years. In 1980 she entered and accelerated Registered Nursing program and was pinned as an RN in 1981. She was employed by Henry Mayo Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital finally spending the rest of her nursing career at Valley Endoscopy Center in Tarzana, California. In her off time she enjoyed hiking with friends all over the Southern California Geography. As a member of the Sierra Club she enjoyed many outdoor activities sharing time with friends in the great and beautiful California mountains. She loved traveling and managed to join a women’s soccer team where she was able to travel to Australia and New Zealand to play against other women’s teams. She traveled to Tahiti, England, the Caribbean, Mexico, South America and many, many parts of the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, son Eric, (Jennifer) daughter Christine, a brother El Rey, three grandchildren, Amanda, Ean and Abby.

A Memorial service is scheduled for July 29, 2023 at Church of the Canyons, 28050 Sand Canyon Road
