Ernest was born on October 17, 1943 in San Fernando, CA. He lived in
Canyon Country for 40 years, working as a groundsman for the Sulphur
Springs School District.
Ernest is survived by his wife, Carol Figueroa; his daughters, Julie
Escalante, Cheryl Magno; his son, Ernie Figueroa Jr.; his
grandchildren, Richard, Robert, Victor and Eric Escalante, Brittany,
Caleb and Aidan Magno, Mandy, Colin, Ernie and Zach Figueroa.
Ernest's family wrote, "A loving husband, father and grandpa; he was
a true servant of the Lord; a family man who enjoyed fishing. We will
all miss his warm smile and infectious laugh."
