Dave's camping friends have purchased a star for him from the Official Star Registry, and the coordinates are: RA:5h25m59.44s DEC:+6°21'36.9".  It is near Orion's belt.  Dave, you will always be at the campfire with us.  Shine bright forever, friend. We will remember you always.

Dave was one of the good ones that we remember with fondness.  He was always known for being a tough grader, so we were always nervous when he showed up to look at our projects.  That's what made it so wonderful when he gave you a smile and pat on the back.  We at DEB Construction will miss him.

I was so saddened to hear of Dave's passing. I worked on and off with him so many times in our careers and always enjoyed his professional approach to work while being a fun loving individual personally. RIP to a really good guy.

I had the honor of working with Dave in the late 90s; he was a terrific person and I was glad to receive emails from him after our careers took us in different directions.  I think the last one I have from him reminded me to look up to the sky and track the movements of Venus, Jupiter, and the moon. I'll keep an eye out for him whenever I scan the heavens.

It is said that you die twice, once when you pass away and then once when the last person that fondly remembers you dies. Dave Knutsen will be remembered for a hundred years by a loving family and by all fellow employees that respected him.

Dave, we will always remember you as one of the best CAMEL DRIVERS!!!  Wherever you are now, we hope you are blessed with the most fabulous Whoop-De-Doos imaginable!!  Enjoy your new ride, we're thinking of you...

When our loved ones pass away,
we can't hug them or see them with our eyes but we can still feel their presence within our hearts.
That brings me comfort and I hope it does for you, too.
 
Dave is a great person and I truly believe he will forever be by your side because love that strong can never be destroyed. Watch for the signs  he will let you know he is still with you!
 
He was a wonderful teammate and full of knowledge!  He will be missed.

Dave was a fabulous co-worker who always sought to help others. I was stunned and saddened by the news of his passing. My thoughts and prayers for the family.

Dave, I feel so lucky to have worked so closely with you the last 25 years.  Many times, I thought of you as my angel as you were always there when I needed you and pulled me out of so many messes. I always loved your stories told with laughter and love.  Your daily Dilbert quotes were great too. I was sometimes annoyed with your attention to detail.  However, I learned so much from you so that detail was necessary.  Thanks for all the many "coachings", late nights and weekends of work travel and emails and most of all for just being you.  I miss you already.

Dear family of David Knutsen...
Was so saddened to hear of the news on the passing of David.  I worked at SPNB in the Data processing center in Glendale, reporting up through Bonnie Caul/Richard Flores/Chuck Wolsky's group in the data processing department.  We all experienced the many changes that SPNB went through to become BofA, then the new BofA under NationsBank.  

David Knutsen and his team were there to support us through the transitions.  He was a great man, a hard-working manager, and man that was truly admired by all of us for his loyalty and dedication in his work.

God bless you all and may you rest in peace, David.  You will always remain in our hearts.

Dave you were my good friend for 25 years and I will always cherish the good times we spent together.  You were like a brother to me and I will miss you.  See you on the other side my friend!
