Jadan Taylor Manion, 24, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 following several weeks of care at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born July 15, 1998 in Evansville, IN.
Jadan graduated from North High School in 2017 where he played on the varsity basketball team for four years. He attended Joliet Junior College where he played basketball one year before transferring to IUPUI in Indianapolis, IN. There, he majored in Sports Management with a business certificate from Kelley School of Business. Jadan completed all of his coursework prior to diagnosis and was looking forward to completing his internship before pursuing a career with a professional sports franchise.
He was an avid sports fan and always enjoyed watching basketball, hockey, and football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jadan was preceded in death by his papaw, Dan Brown, his grandpa, Charlie Sims, and his grandma, Helen Bruce. He is survived by his parents, Don and Lorie Bancroft; sisters, Jacie (Bo) and Jocilyn; niece, Layla; nephew, Max; “Nonnie”, Bev Brown Sims; great grandmother, Patricia Thomas; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. (CST) Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Pastor Matt Malin. Friends may also visit from 4:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. (CST) Friday, December 2, 2022 and from 11:00 a.m. (CST) to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
