Gregory “Greg” Evan Graper, 39, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Newburgh, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at his home. He was born May 6, 1976, in Evansville to Robert and Judith (Monts) Graper.
He graduated from Castle High School where he played baseball and Varsity basketball. He attended Indiana State University where he pledged Phi Gamma Delta. Until moving to Florida he worked at his family business, Midwest Systems and Services. Greg was an avid sports fan, especially of Indiana University basketball. Anyone who wanted stats or player information turned to Greg! He was a Hoosier fan through and through even while living in Florida. He loved skiing and boating at Barkley Lake, swimming in the ocean and hanging out with friends, but he especially loved time with his family. His nephew, Aiden, was his pride and joy.
Greg was preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Rob; grandparents, Colonel M.A. Monts and Esther Lucille Monts, E.A. and Florabelle Graper; and his beloved Akita, Lake.
He was loved and will be missed by his family and many friends more than words can say. His smile and kind, selfless heart were one of a kind.
Greg is survived by his parents, Bob and Judy Graper of Newburgh; nephew, Robert Aiden Graper-Muska; and sister-in-law, Mindy (Chris) Muska of Indianapolis.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, October 1, 2015, at St. John’s East United Church of Christ, 7000 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, officiated by Rev.
