Charles M. Milling, 95, of Evansville, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. He was born August 24, 1928 in Sebastopol, MS to the late Francis and Katye Mae (Dove) Milling.
He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Korea with the Army Corp of Engineers. Charles retired from Whirlpool after 30 years of employment. He was a lifelong member of Terrace Park General Baptist Church, currently known as New Life Church. Charles enjoyed big band music, reading and spending time with his family. He traveled to auctions with his wife, Bettye and enjoyed repairing electronics. Charles enjoyed spending time with family at their cabin at Lake Malone.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Milling.
He is survived by children, Kirk (Lynn) Milling, Connie Wittenbraker and Keith (Kim) Milling; grandchildren, Scott (Amanda), Sandy, Kaleigh and Patrick Milling; and two great-grandchildren, Emelia and Isabella.
A Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2023 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Pastor Jeff Harford. Family and friends may visit Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Private burial will be held in Corydon, KY.
