I first got to meet Richie at a SFC game maybe 20 yrs ago, while talking basketball I instantly felt a happiness that overtook me and comes whenever I come across a good person. Over the yrs whenever Id go down to the College to catch a game Id always look around to see if Richie was there and he was more times than not, he was a great supporter of SFC. RIP Richie, I wish I could have had you as a teammate

Rich was a generous man.  I have 25 years of memories knowing him & Lisa.  Both very giving and caring.  I will remember the laughs, game nights, Hampton weekends,  dinners, diners, parties that we shared.  He loved his family .  Would offer help to whoever needed it.  
Rich was an important part of my life.  I'll never forget him.  May he Rest In Peace.

Richie, we first met in Sept. 1957 at Butler St. Later that month, we became members of the baseball team. You were our STAR outfielder and hitter but you always put up with me, a minor league sub for four years. You were always a positive influence all the time. Upon graduation in 1961, you continued to be a spokesman for the college at all its events.I know this afternoon, you teamed up with Pete, Artie. Kenny, Joe, Frank, etc. for a game and a few beers. Thank you from the CLASS of 1961 for your leadership and FRANCISIAN spirit all these last 58 years. Tim

Sad to hear of the passing of Richie Dreyer. True icon of St. Francis College.

Richie, a real hero of mine and a longtime faithful friend.  So many fond memories of basketball days and get togethers with him and Lisa. A courageous man who will forever be in our hearts.
