I met melissa through our nannies. Lily and Kaitlin were “best friends” at 6 months old. They went to preschool together and loved each other. Kevin and I are so heart broken to hear about Melissa’s passing. Please give lily a big hug from us.  Sending you love and prayers. 

I was just reading the Rochester Review and saw Melissa's name listed.  We were both 1995 UR graduates and worked together making pizzas at the UofR.  The 2 of us, with our similar Massachusetts accents, gave many a laugh.  I enjoyed her.  I am so sorry to read of her passing.

I am very saddened to hear of Melissa's passing. She was a hardworking and kind friend whom I knew since going to the University of Rochester together. My very best wishes to Melissa's family.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Melissa. We entered Bloomberg at the same time (class of 95). It's been many years since I saw her but I still remember her cheery persona and beautiful smile. My deepest condolences to her family.

Melissa inspired us & brought out the best in the people she worked with.

She made us develop better relationships.

My sincere condolences to Melissa's Family. It is rare to meet such an unassuming, encouraging and welcoming leader. Melissa had huge responsibility. She shouldered it mightily. She mentored quietly, yet magnificently. In an environment where speed and tension run high... She directed and advanced on all fronts in such a healthy and good spirited way. She took time and encouraged so many. She was always approachable and cheerful. Such a good spirit. None who had the privilege of working with her will ever forget her. I am saddened to learn of the passing of Melissa Greene. 

I met Melissa shortly after she joined Bloomberg in 1995. In the next 18 years that we shared at the company, she always had a smile and a friendly greeting. Of the countless people I met at work, Melissa was at the top of my list  of the most positive, friendly, and most capable people. 

My prayers go out to her family and friends. It's a small consolation but she will always be remembered as one of the very best in every way.

Melissa interviewed me in early 2000. She showed me the function GP with a ticker related to the city of Rochester after finding some common connection. Just recently joined her organization and was wishing to interact with her more. But I would not have the opportunity any more. Rest in peace and my deepest condolences to her family.

I had the honor of working closely with Melissa for five years at Bloomberg.  I am truly devastated to hear of her passing.  She was an amazing person to be around; her intelligence, humor, and genuine compassion for others were clearly evident. One of the nicest people I had the luck of befriending in my time at Bloomberg. Her legacy and beautiful outlook on life will live on in all the people that knew her.

No words can the express sadness and sorrow Melissa's sudden death has brought to the her family, friends and Bloomberg community. Very sorry for your loss. Melissa recruited me to Bloomberg and was instrumental in making the firm a welcoming place. She shaped the organization and will be sorely missed.

Deeply saddened by Melissa's untimely passing to the other realm. Had the fortunate experience of working with her for several years at Bloomberg. I am so sorry for your loss. Melissa was such an inspirational  person. She was a great leader while also being an extremely nice person. I worked with her for 24 years and she was always upbeat and positive. I enjoyed our time working together. She will be sorely missed.

I am honored and privileged to have known Melissa, and I am deeply saddened to learn of her untimely passing.  We had worked together on various projects many years ago, the details of which I no longer remember.  What I vividly do recall, however, is the character of that person with whom I had interacted.  Loved and respected by all, Melissa was friendly, informed, cheerful, and talented.   

Melissas passing has been a painful blow to her Bloomberg colleagues, and we offer our most sincere condolences to the immediate family, for whom their sorrow must be unimaginable.
