Lindsey Marie Whalen, 27, of New York City, passed away unexpectedly on December 12th, 2021 after a brief illness. Lindsey was born and raised in Briarcliff Manor, NY. She was born to Philip J. Whalen and Frances Roback Whalen on October 20th, 1994. Lindsey graduated from the School of the Holy Child in Rye, NY and was a graduate of The Catholic University of America where she received her B.A. in Studio Art.
Lindsey is survived by her loving parents and her beloved sister, Jenna Frances Whalen. Her joys in life were her swim coaching, adventures in Disney, using her extraordinary creative talent for crafting and entertaining, and being the co-founder of My Oh My Supply Co. Her puppy, Finley Jack (Phinley John) loved Lindsey like no one other. Lindsey lived a vibrant and happy life and was the one to always light up a room, making others feel welcomed and appreciated. Lindsey leaves behind her beloved grandmothers, aunts, uncles and her many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17th, 2021 at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel 1076 Madison Avenue New York, NY. 10028 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 18th at The Church of St. Ignatius Loyola 980 Park Avenue New York, NY 10022 10:00 am Burial at Gates of Heaven Cemetery 10 W. Stevens Avenue Hawthorne, NY 10532
