I was one of Lindsey’s roommates during the Fall 2015 Disney College Program. I’m devastated to hear this news. I didn’t get to go on any adventures with Lindsey during our program due to our conflicting work schedules and my issues with severe mental illness at the time, and I regret that. In our brief time together, Lindsey listened to me whenever we were together, and that was all I  could have possibly asked for. The DCP was a horrible fit for me personally, but Lindsey’s love and passion for Disney gave me some much needed light at the end of a rough shift. 

I am truly sorry to her friends and loved ones. I’m speechless.

I was fortunate to meet Lindsey during the early days of Dog Tag Bakery - I’ll always remember her kind-hearted personality, positive energy, and radiant smile. She was loved by so many in DC, including Father Curry, who always spoke so warmly of Lindsey. I was devastated to hear of her passing - sending my sincerest condolences to the Whalen family.

Lindsey, you were always there for me. You were there with your radiant smile and contagious laugh. I loved cracking Mean Girls jokes together and sharing our love for the video Shoes. From field hockey to art class, from Mr Nelson to Mr. Spagnoletti, we shared so many laughs and wonderful times together. Your creativity and love of life is inspiring. You accomplished so much. Lindsey was a year behind me in Holy Child, and I had the chance to work with her and our other cast mates in The Crucible and Into the Woods that year. Lindsey always had a smile on her face and always knew how to make others laugh. I remember once we were in tech week for The Crucible and she and I were in a scene with the other girls. Someone forgot a line, and she and I managed to improvise to get things going again. And we agreed that that was what we would do if it happened again. To Whalen Family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Lindsey was a fantastic person, and I will keep you and her in my thoughts and prayers!

There are not words to describe the heartbreak of losing such a young and cherished loved one. No matter how excruciating and painful the loss of Lindsey is for you now,  you will ultimately find  comfort in your many rich and vibrant memories of her life.

Lindsey has been so near and dear to my heart for many years. I have the best memories of Jenna, Lindsey & I being silly and laughing so hard our stomachs ached. She was such a light in this world, and I would always ask Jenna, “is Lindsey home?” because I always missed her and loved her presence. The news of Lindsey’s passing and her being called to Heaven so soon is heartbreaking.
Words are small comfort for the unimaginable loss of such a beautiful daughter, yet one may take some comfort knowing all are blessed to have understood or met Lindsey, and receive comfort from the happiness, kindness, warmth, and accomplishments she radiated. 
We pray God blesses all and brings peace into our lives at this difficult and tragic time of loss.


Lindsey had a palpable zest for life that would brighten every room she entered. I have fond memories of field hockey practices at Holy Child where Lindsey would blast High School Musical and other Disney classics that would leave every girl in hysterics and dancing around with her. That energy for life is a profound legacy to leave for her family and friends to carry with them in Lindsey’s memory. Through the grief and the journey that lies ahead for those lives that Lindsey touched, my hope is that Lindsey’s spirit will inspire us all to live life a little more fully. Words are small comfort to the parents of a child who has passed. All I can wish for her family is God's peace in your lives. 

I met Lindsey earlier this year through our dogs - Finn and Finley. We laughed as people stopped us on the street asking if they were brothers. They look so much alike. Not only did our dogs hit it off, but so did we. Although I only knew her briefly, I instantly felt connected to Lindsey. She was kind, compassionate, and so creative. Sending so much love to her family and friends during this unimaginable time.  She will be missed dearly. 

Today we sit with broken hearts, remembering a very gregarious, beautiful girl.  As a family we send our love to the Whalen family and the Class of 2012.

There are four years full of memories from our Holy Child days. Four years' worth that will need to be enough for a lifetime.
There were proms, ring days, graduation ceremonies, trips to the city, fall plays, sweet sixteens; Still; my most treasured memories will be those silly in-between moments - joking in the hallways before and after classes, bonding over our love for the Jonas Brothers and theatre, creating absurd jokes over the moments that would otherwise be forgotten. 
Lindsey, you were so full of life and personality, and all I can do is try to emulate your assurance and vibrance moving forward. 
My sincerest condolences go to the Whalen family, whom Lindsey deeply adored. I hope you can take some comfort in knowing her impact on those around her is everlasting. 

Although Lindsey and I did not keep in touch after high school she always managed to make everyone around her smile. She was a wonderful presence and I am glad to have gotten to know her for four years. My deepest condolences to the Whalen family during this difficult time. Much love. 

There are no words to express my deepest condolences to the Whalen family. Lindsey I attended both SHC and CUA and I was lucky to know her for so many years.  She was a true friend, was always able to make anyone smile, and lit up every room she was in with her bright personality. I am truly sorry for your loss. Praying for your family during this difficult time. 

Lindsey was one of the first friends Kyle (my baby brother) made when he began the Disney College Program.  She quickly became family and showed all of us “how” to “do Disney” the right way.  

Lindsey introduced my girls to collecting pins by giving them several of her special ones from Disney on their very first trip, which she attended with us.  Every time we visit somewhere new, the girls have continued on the tradition Lindsey started with them so many years ago by picking out a special pin to add to their collection.  Of course, they always tell the same story of how Lindsey gave them their very first pin and they show whoever is with us.  

Even though it’s been several years since I’d seen Lindsey in person, I admired her work from afar via social media- down here in Georgia.  She was such a talented, kind soul.  May your days be full of memories and her love of all things Disney be continued through those who love her.  You and all of Lindsey’s friends and family are in our constant prayers as the days go on.  Thank YOU for raising such a phenomenal young lady and sharing her with all of us.

In this photo, the girls were 3 and 6.❤️ It was one of our family trips down to Orlando to see Kyle and his crew. The girls loved when Lindsey visited with Kyle.

We were roommates very briefly at Catholic University and she was one of the warmest and most comforting people I’ve ever met. We talked about life over pizza and she will always hold a special place in my heart for her compassion and ability to smile in the face of adversity. 

There are no words to express our sorrow.
Please accept our sincere sympathy and condolences. Lindsey was there for us when my dad passed 5 years ago at Christmas time.  She was a wonderful friend. Our thoughts and  prayers are with all of  you.
