John P. Cahill, 83, of Manhattan, New York passed away on August 24, 2022. John is survived by Dianne Cahill, his wife of 35 years; his four children, Daniel, Charlene, Brian and Ann; and his ten grandchildren.
John was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended St. Francis Preparatory School. He received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Marquette University. John was the President of the Cahill Group and author of the book, Tragedy of an American President. John himself ran for the Presidency in the New Hampshire primary in 1992. He had an avid curiosity about history and politics and enjoyed learning about a myriad of subjects.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date. Instead of flowers, donations can be made in honor of John to: St. Francis Preparatory School, 6100 Francis Lewis Blvd., Fresh Meadows, NY 11365-2840.
