Allen Rogers was born in Toronto Canada and passed away in New York City on December 3, 2020 at the age of 87. Beloved husband and soul mate of Sue. Dear father of Denise, Ian, Derek and Lynne. Grandfather of Sura, Kayla, Zachary, Rebecca and Misha.
Allen was extremely smart. He was extraordinarily creative and always had a knack for arranging things visually. He was an award wining documentary filmmaker and TV producer and was quite interested in making documentaries on Israel, West Africa and South America as well as on people with disabilities. A great cook, Allen was devoted to Sue and they were fabulous travel partners together around the world. He had a great smile and warmth to him and will be sorely missed by his family and many friendships he’d cultivated around the world throughout his life.
