Walter Helton

Mr. Walter Helton age 85 of Tazewell, TN was born August 25, 1925 and passed away October 27, 2010 at his daughter’s home. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church. He was a farmer, worked in a sawmill, logger and hard worker most of his life. He was preceded in death by his Parents, William and Jane Helton; Son, Randy Helton; Brothers, John and Willard Helton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years: Joy Johnson Helton

Son: Ellis Helton and wife Judy of Morristown, TN

Daughter: Lois Helton Parvin and husband Franklin of Russellville, TN

Daughter: Jewel Helton of Atlanta, GA

5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren

Brothers: Pete Helton of Tazewell, TN

Arthur Helton of New Tazewell, TN

several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Friday October 29, 2010 at the Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN. Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Saturday October 30, 2010 at the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Burial in the Cook Cemetery.
