Vickie "Katie" Frazier

Vickie, better known as Katie, was born in Martin KY to the late William and Delphi Frazier. She is also preceded in death by her step-mother Trudy Frazier.

Katie was an only child. As an adult she worked hard to become a critical care nurse. When she began her career she worked in pediatrics and later shifted to adults. Ultimately ending her career at the VA Hospital in Phoenix. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting as well as other hobbies. Throughout her entire life Katie was an animal lover and was a longtime supporter of the Claiborne County Animal Shelter, she had a special soft spot for Doxies. Katie was also an avid reader and more recently in life had become involved with the Friends of the Claiborne County Library, where she served as an inaugural officer of the organization. Katie was an amazingly generous person and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Katie is survived by a number of good friends; including Shelley and Mike Wieting, Faye Hurst, and many others who will always keep her in their hearts.
