Samuel Jerry Huffaker

Samuel Jerry Huffaker of Knoxville, TN passed away early Tuesday morning July 11, 2017 at his home in Knoxville, TN surrounded by his loved ones. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; Avon and Katherine Fox Huffaker; brothers; Glen, Ed and Doyle. He was a member of Gallaher View Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. He was owner of Huffaker Underground Consruction Company. He was a Veteran of US Army during Vietnam ERA. Jerry was an avid golfer, car enthusiast and loved to hunt and fish.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 44 years: Elizabeth Faye (Coffey) Huffaker

His Son: Mike (Cecilia) Huffaker

Daughter: Becky (Bryan) Haywood

Grandchildren: Storm and Skye Huffaker ; Mikenna and Carson Haywood

Former Wife: Marilyn

Brothers: Leland (Margaret) and David (Belinda) Huffaker

Sister: Kathy Webb

Brothers-in-law: Dan, Stan, Tom, Jim and Robert Coffey

Graveside service to be held at Fairview Cemetery in New Tazewell, TN on Saturday July 15, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Military Honors

Family will meet at Coffey Funeral Home, 937 North Broad St. New Tazewell, TN at 1:30 P.M. to go in procession to Fairview Cemetery for service.
