Lowell C. Johnson

He was saved at an early age and was a member of Davis Chapel Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carson and Opal Johnson. Sisters Judy and Terry Vance. Nephews Brian Seabolt and Dustin Johnson. Mother-in-law Josephine Moyer's Brummitt and Brother-in-laws Ronald and John Moyers.

He was an avid race car fan, enjoyed fishing, listening to music and watching TV. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a very kind, giving, loyal husband, father, papaw, brother and friend to all of those who knew him. He worked as a textile laborer for 20 plus years.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Mildred Johnson of 32 years. Daughters Amanda (Michael) Collins of Thornhill TN, Jessica (Dustin) Eldridge of Sneedville TN, Nikki and Pricilla Johnson of Sneedville TN. God daughter Amelia Daniels of New Tazewell TN. Son Lawrence Parks of New Tazewell TN. Sisters Betty Jo Seabolt of New Tazewell TN and Sherry (Kenny) Williams of Sneedville TN. Brothers Carl (Anita) Johnson of Thornhill TN and Billy Johnson of Sneedville TN. Grandchildren Anthony Goins, Ethan Seal, Kingston Eldridge, Mason Johnson, Coleman Eldridge, Trey Eldridge, Hunter Eldridge, Trysta Collins, Dixie Davis, Waylon Davis, and Scarlet Lester. The family will receive friends Saturday July 15, 2023 from 5 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held Sunday July 16, 2023 at 11 AM in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
