Jerry M Moyers

Jerry Milton Moyers, age 76, of New Tazewell, Tennessee was born September 3, 1947 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Jerry retired from Century Telephone Company in 2003 after 28 years of loyal service. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church in New Tazewell, TN.

Jerry was preceded in death by Hillard and Velma Hooper Moyers and infant son Derek Emil Moyers.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Love Moyers; Sons Nick (Lisa) and Geraud (Brandi); Grandchildren Madison, Mackenzie, Jairus, Jaden, Joshua and Gabriella; Brothers H.T. and Richard (Joann) and nieces and nephews, Rick (Cindy), Regina, Greg (Lisa), Becky and many more loved ones.

Jerry will lie in state at Coffey Funeral Home, Friends and Family are welcome to pay their respects Monday, July 8, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A graveside with Military honors will be Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery, New Tazewell, TN 37825. Anyone going to the graveside service in procession , meet at the funeral home at 9:30.

Pallbearers: Greg Moyers, Rick Moyers, Jairus Moyers, Jaden Moyers, Joshua Moyers, Madison Moyers and Mackenzie Moyers.
