James Michael Keck

James Michael Keck age 45 of New Tazewell, TN was born August 15, 1969 and passed away on February 2, 2015 very peacefully at his home. He was saved at 5 years of age at Lily Grove Baptist Church, where he became a member. James was an avid hunter, fisherman and he loved to garden and most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Frances “Tootsie” Poore, brother Jeffery Scott Keck and step-sister, Loretta Singleton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years: Rebecca Keck

The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. Thursday February 5, 2015 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 7: P.M. Thursday in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. on Friday February 6, 2015.
