Geneva Goins Gales, age 79, of New Tazewell, TN, left her earthly home and took her heavenly flight on Monday, October 14, 2024. She was a God-fearing woman of Faith, fire-baptized and Holy Ghost filled Child of God. She was a member of Wallen Ridge Baptist Church where she served as a long-standing treasurer. She later joined TNT Church of God where she was a faithful member until she went home to be with the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Goins Sr. and Willie Lee Senter Goins. One brother, Oscar Goins, Jr. Sister, Willa Mae Goins Parkey. Nephews, William "Cshug" Parkey and Dayton Parkey.
She is survived by her son, Randy Eugene Goins of Albuquerque, New Mexico and daughter and son-in-law, Crystal Lanette Gales Adams and Michael Adams of Maynardville, TN. Ex-Husband and special friend William Gales of Knoxville, TN. One sister, Annette Goins of Knoxville, TN. As well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Anyone who ever encountered her, always walked away with a special memory in their heart.

The family will receive friends on Friday October 18, 2024 from 6 until 9 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday October 19, 2024 at 2 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in the Goins Cemetery.
