Born on May 12, 1941, Billy Wilson of Tazewell, TN passed away on the morning of May 30, 2016 at the age of 75. Billy worked with heavy equipment for many years after a career in the coal mining industry. He was known as “The Dozer Man” in Tazewell and the surrounding area. He was a member and a Deacon of Hoop Creek Baptist Church, and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. To those who had the privilege of knowing him, Billy will be remembered as a pillar of his community, a devout Christian, a devoted husband, and incredibly loving father, grandfather, uncle, and brother, as well as a cherished friend to many. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Neal and Hansel Wilson; 3 Brothers, Wayne (Loretta) Wilson, George Wilson and Joe Wilson; 3 Sisters, Pauline (Ardell) Wilson, Gertrude Goins and Linda (Tim) Kirkpatrick.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Thursday June 2, 2016 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Friday June 3, 2016 at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Campbell Cemetery at Cedar Fork.
