Robert Oliver Johnson Jr.

He was born in Beaver Falls on September 14, 1934, to the late Virginia Mae and Robert O Johnson Sr. He attended Beaver Falls High School and continued on to graduate from Geneva College in 1956. In 1957 he joined the Army in Fort Knox, KY served for 2 years with an honorable discharge and in KY is where he met his future wife Marjorie.

Married for 61 years, until her death in 2020, Robert and Marjorie were blessed with 3 sons, Robert, David and Steven. Grandchildren, Christopher, Bradley, Kaylen, Ryan, Tyler, Kyle, William, Lauren, Brooke, Chloe and Stephanie. With Great Grandchildren Madison, Gianna, Ryan, Marley, Everly and Rylee. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Robert and Marjorie were members of the First Baptist Church of New Port Richey Florida. Robert loved playing the clarinet and was a man of faith and cherished his fellowship as he played in the church orchestra and many other places.

Robert took pride in teaching his grandchildren the clarinet, Christopher, Bradley and Kaylen would take turns learning, and they will always have that memory of him.

Dad, Grandpap and Uncle Bob as we called him will be deeply missed, however we take solace and joy knowing that he is now in heaven with Jesus and his beloved family.

A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652, followed by a celebration of life from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
