Peggy Joyce Sears passed away peacefully at her home in New Port Richey, FL on Tuesday March 9th, 2021 at 87 years old. She was the daughter of Fred Wrape, and Carol Miller and a wife to Almus Hamilton from 1951 to 1973, and to Eddie J Sears from 1975 to 2001. She is preceded by her brother Ted Wrape, and leaves behind her siblings Fred Wrape, Patricia Allen, and Wayne Wrape, her three children Richard Hamilton (Susan Hamilton), Dawn Moon (Charles Moon), and Sharon Wright (Chip Wright), her grandchildren Nicole Hamilton, Alan Hamilton, Amanda Fernandez, Rebecca Michel, and her great grandchildren Peter Fernandez, Huston Michel, and Samuel Fernandez. Peggy was a dedicated philanthropist and consummate caregiver, always helping others first. She loved the adventure of travel, these are some of the fondest memories many of us share with her. With her fervent faith in Jesus Christ, we are all comforted to know she is in heaven. She lived a life that exemplified Christ’s forgiveness, love, and joy and will be missed by all. A private family only ceremony will be held. In leu of flowers, donations to First Baptist Church of New Port Richey would be appreciated.
