Born on December 5th,1937, in Brooklyn, NY. Paul joined the U.S. Navy in 1955. After serving 4 years on the U.S.S. Des Moines, he was honorably discharged and began a career in the construction industry in Connecticut. He was an exceptional heavy equipment operator and blasting/explosives expert. He eventually re-joined the U.S. Navy Seabees Construction Battalion (Reserves) as an Equipment Operator where he served for over 25 years, achieving the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-7). He earned many service medals/ribbons and was very proud of the Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist badge. Paul was a very proud Veteran!
Paul leaves behind his wife Teresa of New Port Richey, Fla.; his daughter and son-in-law, Lori & Robert Milewski (Rizzo) of Southington, CT; his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Barbie (Martin) Rizzo, of Plainville, CT; and his four grandchildren, Mathew & Andrew Milewski, and Marisa Hill (Rizzo) and Tyler Rizzo. He also leaves behind a great granddaughter, Elizabeth Milewski.
