Suzanne Landreneau Seelig

Suzanne Landreneau Seelig, born August 17, 1964, lost her heroic battle with cancer on September 1, 2015, surrounded by loving friends and family. She is survived by her daughter Liza, husband Chip, parents Raymond and Joyce (Cahill) Landreneau, mother-in-law Alana Block Seelig, sister Aimee Landreneau-deTurk, brother Lee Landreneau, sisters and brothers-in-law, and adoring nieces and nephews.

Sue’s generosity and kindness, along with the way she lived her life to the fullest,

should bring peace and comfort to all those who knew and loved her. Sue showed incredible courage and bravery throughout the past two years and met every challenge with an inner resolve, desire and will to live. She was comforted greatly by her religious devotion and spiritual faith. Sue filled every room with her laughter and her kind heart and will be remembered for her one of a kind personality and the twinkle in her eye.

The family wishes to thank Sue’s care givers for the respect and compassion that they showed her in her final months. The world is a little dimmer and our family a little smaller, but Heaven has a bright new star above. Sue will be deeply missed. Please keep her in your prayers.

Friends and relatives are invited on September 11, 2015, to St. Rita’s Catholic Church located at 2729 Lowerline Street to attend the visitation from 10:00AM-noon with a Mass to follow. Burial will take place after at Lafayette Cemetery No. 1.
