Stella Caillouet Lucas departed this life on Friday, March 11, 2016, to join her beloved husband of 56 years, Edward F. Lucas. Loving mother of Christine Lucas Bandera (Allen), Susan Lucas Giordano, and Tina Lucas Gandy. Grandmother of Sarah C. Bandera and Layla S. Giordano. Great grandmother of Dominick G. Giordano. Sister of the late P. J. Caillouet, Jr. Daughter of the late Philip J. and Stella Pagliughi Caillouet. Stella was a lifelong resident of Lakeview. She attended L.S.U., and graduated from St. Mary’s Dominican College, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. Stella was a physical education teacher for 20 years at Marrero Middle School. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM.
