Robert Michael Brown

Rob was the beloved husband of Deborah Marie Brown for 21 years. He was the loving father of Alyssa Maria Brown, Virginia Spencer, and Richard Spencer.

He earned a BA in Manufacturing Processes from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID), a College of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and worked for many years as the Marine CAD Designer/Drafter.

Rob was a long-standing member of the Board of Trustees for the Greater New Orleans Association of the Deaf (GNOAD), and was a Member, Float Lieutenant, and former Duke of the Knights of Sparta Carnival Krewe. He was a motorcycle and woodworking enthusiast, an avid fisherman, and a proactive hobbyist in computer gaming.

He was preceded in death by his parent; Mrs. Judy Brown, and his brother-in-law; Mr. John Bogle.

Rob is survived by his parents; Mr. William Michael Brown and Dr. and Mrs. David Marc Mulnick (Sydney), his sisters; Piper Bogle, and Erin Benoit (Leon), his nephews; Brandon Bogle (Elise), and Jaxon Benoit.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the friends that have touched his life, the deaf community, his motorcycle family, (GNOAD) Greater New Orleans Association of the Deaf, (COSD) Council of Organizations Serving the Deaf, and (LAD) Louisiana Association of the Deaf.

A celebration of life will be held at a date and time to be announced in the future.
