He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; mother, Doris; and uncle, Leslie. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda; daughter, Lindsey (Shaun); his sisters, Linda Mondaca (Melvin) and Diana Faught (James); and his brother, Glenn (Cheryl).
Rick was an insulator for many years and he was proud to be the retired President of the Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Local #53 Union. The “Big Rick” as he liked to be called never missed a Cruisin’ the Coast weekend in Mississippi. He was an avid collector of classic cars and anything else with a motor and wheels.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass at St. John Cemetery on Canal Street.
