Peter Glaviano

Pete was a resident of Chalmette for 13 years before settling in Metairie, Louisiana for 12 years. Later in life he became a resident of Chateau de Notre Dame for over 2 years. He was a proud member of The Contessa Entelina Society Club. He enjoyed traveling, dancing, bowling and doing yard work. He loved to eat and he loved his cat Domino.

He was a wonderful husband to the late Josie Creighton Glaviano for 25 years and by the previous marriage to the late Josephine Glaviano.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, siblings Catherine, Dominic, Pascal and Nicholas.

Pete is survived by his beloved sister Anna Boyle, step-children

Ronald Creighton, Donald Creighton, Mary Creighton Robeson and John Creighton, Jr., grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends that he loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 2pm. A visitation will be held from 12pm until service and the interment will follow the service in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
