Peggy Heavey Kopf passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the age of 63. Peggy is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, David C. Kopf, her children, Dawn Kopf Barnett and Kelly Kopf, two grandsons, Christopher Michael Barnett and Brandon David Barnett, her father, Frank P. Heavey (wife Sharron) and her sister Debra Heavey Blood (husband Taylor). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clare LaCroix Gondron. Peggy, a graduate of St. Joseph High School, was born in New Orleans and resided in Metairie for the past 45 years
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 12:00 Noon with visitation at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 A.M.
