Paul Wolfe

Paul Colbert Wolfe, born October 15, 1967, in Houston, TX, passed away peacefully at his home on April 7, 2023. He was 55 years old and was the fourth of six siblings. He was suffering from numerous medical issues including kidney cancer but is now at heavenly peace along with those who preceded him in death, his beloved son, Bryan, his nephew Benjamin Holtsclaw and his parents Charles and Eleanor (Ellie) Wolfe. Paul was the life of the party with his unmatched sense of humor and quick wit. He never failed to put a smile on everyone’s face or leave them crying with laughter. He will be profoundly missed by everyone, especially his family.

For most of his life, Paul worked in the family business, Blaze Logistics, where he eventually became a part owner. More recently he worked with Triangle Roofing while still finding time to do the things he always loved: drawing, woodworking, fixing things and general tinkering. He also enjoyed participating in the Jefferson City Buzzards Marching Club and his many years playing darts.

Paul is survived by his siblings, Charles Wolfe (Maureen), James Wolfe, Leslie Wolfe, Thomas Wolfe (Tracy) and Catherine Wolfe Walthall. He is also survived by his nephew Charles Wolfe, his nieces Brittany Holtsclaw, Kristyn Wolfe Palmisano, Mallory Wolfe, Hailey Walthall, Alyssa Walthall, Camryn Walthall, Madison Wolfe, Meghan Wolfe, numerous grandnieces and nephews and former wife Bonnie Wolfe, mother of his beloved son and “hero” Bryan Wolfe.

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, eulogy at 1:30 pm followed by a funeral mass at 2 pm at Lake Lawn Funeral home. Interment at the adjacent Lake Lawn Park will follow.
