She is survived by her sons, Gerald Thomas Boyer, Jr., Michael James Boyer, Sr. and Thomas Joseph Boyer; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Thomas Boyer, Sr.; and her parents, Patrick and Augusta Brauner Hopkins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass officiated by Rev. Long Pham in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 11 AM. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. After Mass, Patricia will be laid to rest beside her husband in Metairie Cemetery.
