Oscar M. Carazo, Sr. age 82, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. He was a native of Turrialba, Costa Rica and residence of River Ridge, La. Mr. Carazo was the owner of C & W Carburetors and was a parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church.
He was the beloved husband of 62 years to Betty Pritchett Carazo. Son of the late Marcos A. Carazo and Sarita Struck Carazo. Loving father of Oscar M. Carazo, Jr., David Carazo and Christina Carazo Thompson. Adoring grandfather of Jett Thompson, August Carazo Thompson, Izabella Thompson, Nicholas G. Carazo and Sara Carazo Ormsbee.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 2:00PM. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
