Neal Larry Morris

Neal Larry Morris, age 69, died on Friday, December 16, 2022 after a brief illness. He is the beloved husband of Roslyn Fuksman Morris. Devoted father of Jeremy Morris (Yelena), Max Morris (Karli) and Everett Morris. He is the brother of Allan Morris (Joan) and Beverly Winter (Jeff), and the late Leonard Morris (Gail). He is also survived by two grandsons, Landon and Avery Morris and numerous nieces and nephews.

After meeting Roslyn at the University of Alabama, Neal was drawn to New Orleans because of his love of food and fine cuisine. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1976 and has practiced for Ericksen Krentel Consultants for the past 35 years. He is a member of Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation in Metairie and has served on numerous Jewish charitable boards. He will be remembered as a man who placed family first and gave back to his community while doing everything whole heartedly.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 at 11:30 AM in Shir Chadash Synagogue, 3737 West Esplanade Avenue in Metairie, with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM. Rabbi Scott Hoffman will officiate, followed by interment in Chevra Thilim Memorial Park, 5100 Iberville Street at Helena Street, New Orleans.
