dear wife over eight years ago, but
she still appears in an occasional dream.
Also still talk to her during the day or

The world has lost one of the "Good Guys".  Mike was a leader in Pack 23 Cub Scouts and a great example for the boys.  I know the Shirey Family has suffered a tremendous loss. My condolences to the family.

I was shocked to read about Michael's death in today's paper. I bought my first house from you and Michael, 833 Marigny, back in 1985. Time does fly, doesn't it? And I couldn't have asked for a better neighbor than your mother, a true New Orleanian. Once again, my deepest sympathy to you and yours.

The Welker Family would like to extend our condolences to Mike's family and friends.  Mike was a very good man and we were very privileged to have known him.  We will miss his smile and of course the way he boiled crawfish. The photo is when we were all living in Franklin, LA after Katrina.  Rest in Peace Mike for you are now in a place where there is no more suffering and no more pain.

I met mike thru work about 10 years ago.  I feel very honored to have met him and he taught me a great deal about hydraulics but more importantly I thoroughly enjoyed being around him.  He was one of the most sincere and finest people you can meet.
