Melissa "Missy" Radosta Rebstock

Melissa “Missy” Radosta Rebstock, of Metairie, LA was called home unexpectedly on Friday, August, 19, 2022, at the age of 65. She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 41 years, John Gayle Rebstock, Sr.; her sons, John G. Rebstock, Jr. (Nicole), and Ross Rebstock; her beloved grandchildren Jonas, Avery and Sophie; her sister Susan Radosta (Arnold), her brothers Pascal J. Radosta III (Joanne) and Scott Radosta (Shelia); her sister-in-laws Deborah Rebstock, Corky Rebstock and Rhett Evers; her brother-in-law Jeff Rebstock (Shirley); godchildren Sherry Oberlies (Brian) and Lucy Oberlies; all her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; her best friend Linda Belou; All her life-long friends; her mentor as well as friend Cheryl Cortese and the Juice Plus family; and her sweet dog Ella Blue. Preceded in death by her parents Pascal J. Radosta, Jr. and Amable Luria Radosta; her grandson Nathanael. Missy graduated from St. Francis Xavier School and Mt. Carmel Academy where she began her formation earning her angel wings. Her membership and service to the Daughters of Isabella was a testament to the way in which she lived. Her devotion to her Catholic faith was illustrated by her selfless deeds to anyone in need. She was an angel to all who knew her, sacrificing her time and energy to ensure others were taken care of before herself. Missy had a delightful sense of humor, loved to laugh, spend time with friends, family and especially her 3 beloved grandchildren. Her infectious smile would light up the room and her gentle kindness was pure grace. A memorial mass will be held at St. Angela Merici, 901 Beverly Garden Drive, Metairie, LA 70002 on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. A private interment to follow.
