Mary Ellen Guillot LeBlanc born May 3, 1937 passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the age of 86. She was a graduate of Dominican High School Class of 1955. After graduation she worked as a medical clerk at Mercy Hospital until she retired. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ellen Guillot and her husband of 58 years, Ernest J. “Jay” LeBlanc, Jr. She is survived by her children, Ernest J. “Jay” LeBlanc, III (Kim), Harold G. LeBlanc (Wendy), Luellen Mayhew (Richard); grandchildren, Bradley Belloni, Scott LeBlanc, Kristen LeBlanc, Patrick LeBlanc, Stephen Mayhew, Abigail Mayhew, Gerard LeBlanc, and Gabriella Mayhew; step-grandchildren, Joshua and Cory Barnes; four great grandchildren, and three step- great grandchildren. The family would like to acknowledge her best friend of 31 years, Mona Wexler. Services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 9:00AM followed by a Mass at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Lake Lawn Park.
