Mary Jane Herrin Carboni

She will reunite with her loving husband of 55 years, Eugene A. Carboni. Daughter of the late H.L. “Chub” Herrin and Betty W. Herrin. Mother of Christie Carboni Swicegood and her husband Marshall “Andy” Swicegood. She was “Maw Maw” to Amy Allesandro (Justin), Cayce Thomas (Jonathan), Lauren Jones (Jonathan), Becky Hart (Rocky), Bryanne Mader (Daniel), Andrew Swicegood (Christina), and 14 great grandchildren.

Mary Jane was a registered nurse, an avid golfer, and loved to enjoy life. She will be missed dearly by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Catholic Memorial Service on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. and a graveside service will follow the service at Metairie Cemetery.
