Margaret Theresa Lang

Margaret Theresa Dwyer Lang of Kenner, LA passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Beloved wife of Peter H. Lang, Jr. for 57 years. Mother of Deborah L. Vallette (and her husband Richard) and Peter H. Lang III (and his wife Susan). Grandmother of Stephen C. and Ashley A. Vallette. Daughter of the late Patrick Dwyer and Charlotte Stumpf Dwyer, sister of Donald Dwyer (niece Peggy & nephew Donald Jr.), and the late Gerald, Irvin, James, Joseph, Patrick, Raymond, Thomas & Violet Dwyer and survived by several nieces and nephews and many close friends. Mrs. Lang was a long time member of Nativity of Our Lord Church in Kenner, LA. Margaret (also known by many as Maggie) was also a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the New Orleans Power Squadron (LANOPS) organization, volunteering on many committees’ over the years and retired from the Town & Country Dress Shop on St. Charles Avenue after many years of service.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St.; on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until service time. Condolences may be expressed online at www.schoencanalstreet.com
