Justin “Don” Mayeux passed away at home on November 8, 2014, at the age of 89. Don prayed to be with Jesus and now prays for all of those he shared his life with. He was the son of Barbara Henry Mayeux and Lumay Joseph Mayeux, brother of Beverly Mayeux Offutt and preceded by his brother John L. Mayeux (Bernice). He was preceded in death by his wife and best friend of 67 years “Cookie” Miner Mayeux. He was also preceded in death by his son Richard (Maelena) and is survived by three sons “Rus”, Phillip (Laurel), and Jim. He was also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His business was insurance, he enjoyed the business and the many wonderful clients he had the pleasure to serve. His passion was LSU Football (Three National Championships) and playing golf with “Cookie” and their friends at Diamondhead. Our family wants his “very special friends” Dan Wise, Elder Brown Jr., and Teddy Boone to know how much we appreciate their friendship.
