Juanita Madrazo Richard Mancuso

Juanita M. Mancuso passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the age of 91. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Kingwood, TX. Juanita graduated from Behrman High School in Algiers, LA and was a member of St. Martha Catholic Church in Kingwood, TX. She enjoyed Bible study, arts and crafts and sewing. Juanita’s dedication was always to her Catholic faith and to her family. She was a special person, always enjoying everyone she met and willing to help in any situation she came upon. She is preceded in death by her first spouse of 18 years, Lloyd Richard; her parents, Frank “Frisco” Madrazo and Lionel Mayet Madrazo; her brother, Frank J. Madrazo; and godchild, Freddie Schmidt. Juanita is survived by her husband, Michael J. Mancuso of 48 years; her daughters, Joan Hudson (Mike), Judy Mancuso and Jean Richard; her son, Michael Richard (Suzanne); grandchildren, Dana Stiles (Adam), Samantha Gibbons (Chris), Michael Lewis, and Pamela Kneip (John); great-grandchildren, Evan Richard, Nora and Lennon Kneip; and godchildren, Louis Sampey and Karen Derbes. The family would like to give special thanks to The Mayet and Richard families who brought joy in her life and peace and love at her passing. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 12pm. A visitation will begin at 10am until mass begins. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
