Our beloved Jamie Jamille Jones, born on January 26, 1988, fell asleep in death on January 17, 2015. She is survived by her father, Sterling Hayes. Her mother and stepfather Newell and Francene Smith. Sisters, Yolonda, Angela, and Michelle; and a host of family and friends. She was also the loving aunt “TeTe” to Aritaeus, Donté, Aravia, and Demi.
She attended Eleanor McMain Secondary School. In 2014 she received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Psychology from Southern University at New Orleans. Jamie was a talented actress/model in New Orleans, LA and Atlanta, GA and also worked in the Marketing/Promotions Industry. She was currently attending the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with the Uptown N.O. Congregation.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 am at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation/viewing will begin at 10:00 am until service time and interment will take place following the services.
