Gordon W. Austin passed away on August 14, 2012 at home with his son by his side. He was the husband of the late Therese Lucas Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. & Mrs. Jack Austin. He served honorably In the U. S. Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice for their caring and compassion.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on August 17, 2012 at noon at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home 3827 Canal St. Visitation will be from 10am till service time.
