Georgette D. Chabert, 87, passed away in Kenner, Louisiana on Saturday, February 4, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Odette Durand; brother in-law, Larry Chabert. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Thomas E. Chabert; son, Alan T. Chabert (Kimberly); daughter, Denise Chabert Rosenberger (David); grandchildren, Eric Chabert (Abby), Darren Chabert and Caitlyn Chabert; great grandchildren, Hunter Chabert and Morgan Chabert; sister in-law, Lena Chabert. She will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.
